Telework Trends

This interactive page is designed to help Federal leaders at all levels better understand telework trends, make data-driven decisions, and design initiatives to create a culture of flexibility within their agency.  These tools contain data from both the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey and the Enterprise Human Resources Integration (EHRI) database.

Telework Managing Officers and Coordinators, senior leaders, managers, and employees are encouraged to use this information to ensure telework is available and used to the maximum extent practicable in accordance with the Presidential Memorandum on Enhancing Workplace Flexibilities and Work-Life Programs.

Work-Life Support in 2016

Telework is a critical work-life program that gives employees the flexibility they need to meet their responsibilities at work and outside of work while helping agencies to recruit and retain top talent and drive employee engagement. Employee perceptions of their manager's and senior leader's support of work-life integration can influence participation in telework. The figures below display data for work-life support.
